1. Who is responsible

The data controller for this website is:

We operate this site as an independent affiliate. We are not the organiser of the events described here. When you click through to an organiser’s website and register there, that organiser becomes the controller of the data you give them, under their own privacy policy. See section 7.

2. What we collect

We do not ask for or store payment details, government identifiers, or financial account information on this site. We do not knowingly collect special-category data (health, biometrics, political opinions, and similar).

3. Why we use it

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time through the cookie settings on this site or in your browser. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use comparable technologies such as pixels, tags, local storage and SDKs. We group them as follows.

On your first visit you are shown a consent banner. Non-essential cookies are not set until you accept them. You can change your choice at any time through that banner’s settings control, opt out of advertising cookies via Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, or block and delete cookies in your browser settings — though strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to work.

5. Advertising and measurement

We advertise this site on third-party platforms. Those platforms set their own cookies and receive data about your interaction with our pages so that campaigns can be measured. The platforms we use are:

• Google Ads and Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) — campaign measurement, conversion tracking and audience analysis. See Google’s privacy policy.
• Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) — campaign measurement and audience building, if enabled. See Meta’s privacy policy.

These platforms may act as independent controllers or as joint controllers with us, depending on the product and your region. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ad Settings, your Meta ad preferences, or industry tools such as YourAdChoices and Your Online Choices.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data for money. We share it only with:

• Hosting and infrastructure providers, who store and serve this website on our behalf.
• Analytics and advertising platforms, as described in sections 4 and 5.
• Email and support tools, if you contact us.
• Professional advisers (accountants, lawyers) where necessary.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose data.

Providers acting on our instructions are bound by contracts that restrict what they may do with the data. Note that under some US state laws, sharing data with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioural advertising counts as a “sale” or “share” even when no money changes hands — see section 12.

7. Leaving our site

The registration links on our pages take you to websites operated by event organisers and other third parties. Once you leave yourpass.online, this policy no longer applies. Those sites set their own cookies, collect their own data and are governed by their own privacy policies, which you should read before submitting anything.

We may receive aggregate or transaction-level reporting from an organiser telling us that a referral converted, so that commission can be credited. Where that reporting identifies an individual, we process it to verify and account for commissions.

8. International transfers

Some of our providers are based outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA or UK, we rely on a lawful transfer mechanism — normally the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses together with the UK Addendum, or an adequacy decision such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards by writing to privacy@yourpass.online.

9. How long we keep data

When data is no longer needed we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.

10. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. We limit administrative access to those who need it, keep our platform and dependencies patched, and choose providers that maintain recognised security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority of a personal data breach where the law requires it.

11. Your rights (EEA / UK)

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy.
• Rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Erase your data where there is no overriding reason for us to keep it.
• Restrict processing while a dispute about accuracy or legitimate interests is resolved.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
• Portability — receive data you gave us in a machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
• Complain to your supervisory authority. A list of EEA authorities is published by the European Data Protection Board; in the UK it is the ICO.

Write to contact@yourpass.online to exercise any of these. We respond within one month and may extend by two further months for complex requests, telling you if we do. We may ask for information to verify your identity. Exercising your rights is free unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

12. Your rights (California)

If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request deletion, to request correction, to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information for money. However, our use of advertising cookies may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law. You can opt out by rejecting advertising cookies in our consent banner, by using the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in our footer, or by transmitting a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honour.

Sensitive personal information. We do not collect or use sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.

To make a request, email privacy@yourpass.online. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days, extendable once by a further 45 days. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorisation.

13. Children

This site is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16 (or under 13 in the United States). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes

We may update this policy as our site or the law changes. The “last updated” date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be signalled on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
