Terms of Service — yourpass.online

Terms of Service

Last updated: [20 JAN 2026] · Effective: [30 JAN 2026]

These terms are an agreement between you and [yourpass] ("we", "us") covering your use of yourpass.online and everything published on it. Please read them before using the site.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using this site you agree to these terms, to our Privacy Policy, our Disclosure Agreement and our Disclaimer, all of which form part of this agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

We may revise these terms at any time. The "last updated" date shows the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

2. What this site is

yourpass.online is an informational website. We publish pages describing educational events, conferences and programmes organised by third parties, and we link to the organisers' own registration pages.

We do not:

  • organise, host or run the events described on this site;
  • employ, control or supervise the speakers who appear at them;
  • process registrations, take payment, or issue tickets;
  • provide financial, investment, brokerage, advisory or educational services of our own.

Everything published here is general information. It is not personalised to you and creates no professional relationship between us.

3. No professional advice

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, trading, tax, accounting or legal advice, and nothing on it is an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy or sell any security, financial instrument or product.

We are not licensed or registered as an investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial planner or tax adviser in any jurisdiction. Before acting on anything you read here or learn at an event, consult a professional licensed in your own country.

Our full position on results, risk and third-party claims is set out in the Disclaimer, which you should read alongside these terms.

4. Affiliate relationship

We operate as an independent affiliate. When you register for an event through a link on this site, we may receive a commission from the organiser. This costs you nothing extra and does not change the price you pay or what you receive. Full details are in the Disclosure Agreement.

5. Third-party sites and events

Our links take you to websites we do not own or control. We are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, their privacy practices, the products or services they offer, or any claim they make. Your dealings with an organiser — including registration, payment, delivery, refunds and any dispute — are solely between you and that organiser, under their terms.

Event details on this site, including dates, speakers, agendas and pricing, are provided by the organiser and can change without notice. We are not responsible for changes, postponements, cancellations, or a speaker's non-appearance.

Descriptions of speakers are drawn from publicly available biographical information and are provided to identify the programme. They are not endorsements by those speakers of us or of this site.

6. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to use this site. By using it you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are not barred from doing so under any applicable law or sanctions regime.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
  • copy, republish, scrape or systematically extract our content without written permission;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system;
  • introduce malware, or interfere with the site's operation or availability;
  • use automated tools to access the site in a way that imposes an unreasonable load;
  • misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or organisation;
  • remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notice.

We may suspend or block access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

8. Intellectual property

The layout, text, design and original graphics of this site are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our prior written consent.

Third-party names, logos, book titles, photographs and trademarks appearing on this site — including those of event organisers and speakers — remain the property of their respective owners. They are used to identify the events and programmes described, under the organiser's affiliate materials or on a nominative fair-use basis. Their appearance does not imply that the owner endorses, sponsors or is affiliated with this site.

If you believe material on this site infringes your rights, contact legal@yourpass.online with details identifying the work and its location, and we will investigate promptly.

9. Accuracy and availability

We take reasonable care to keep this site accurate and current, but content may become out of date, incomplete or contain errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. We specifically disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the site will be error-free or uninterrupted, that defects will be corrected, that the site is free of harmful components, or that any information on it is accurate, complete or current.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, savings, data, business or goodwill, arising out of or connected with your use of this site or your attendance at any event described on it — whether the claim is brought in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, and even if we were advised that such damages were possible.

In particular, and without limiting the above, we are not liable for any trading, investment or business loss you may incur after using information found on this site or presented at an event.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims is limited to [AMOUNT, e.g. EUR 100] or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us and our officers, employees and agents harmless from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

13. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the GDPR and California law.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION — e.g. Portugal], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of [CITY, COUNTRY] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings there. The European Commission also provides an online dispute resolution platform.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at legal@yourpass.online so we can try to resolve the matter directly.

15. General

  • Entire agreement. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Disclosure Agreement and Disclaimer, are the whole agreement between us about the site.
  • Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force and the provision is applied as far as it lawfully can be.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a right, we do not waive it.
  • Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these terms. We may assign ours to a successor of our business.
  • No third-party rights. No one other than you and us may enforce these terms.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
  • Language. The English version of these terms prevails over any translation.
